Panic and carnage, as the school corridors flood with blood. Yuko has exposed Hideo as a parasite, and the resulting rampage has left classmates and teachers dead, and police swarming everywhere. The only upsides are Yuko’s quick reflexes, which allow her to survive, and the luck and strategy that help Shinichi and Migi notch another kill. Yet, Shinichi can’t help but think about the worries that Satomi expressed before this latest nightmare began. Is he forcing himself to change too quickly? Or, even worse…could she or someone else be onto him?
